When Motherhood Looks Different

Our mission is to provide community, well-being tools, and support for moms raising neurodivergent kids, and moms who are neurodivergent themselves.

Through well-being / mindfulness coaching, events, services and products, and support via the blog & social media, our heart-centered aim is to close the gap of isolation for moms like us on this journey.

Don’t miss our Moms & Kids Like Us Meet Up, August 23, 2-5pm (We Rock the Spectrum, Forest Hill), celebrating 2 years of When Motherhood Looks Different and Nai’s Birthday!

“When we become more aware, as Mamas, of our triggers, it can help us support our kids through their own day to day challenges.”

Neurodiversity Affirming

We celebrate and honor the unique ways neurodivergent brains work, and see this as an invitation for deeper community and understanding.

Progressive Christian Faith

Our spiritual practice of progressive Christianity which uplifts values of empathy, compassion, love and community guides this work; for us, God is love, and we extend this to everyone.

Well-Being

We root ourselves in consistent well-being and mindfulness practices which support our collective growth, learning, and commitment to facilitating positive change within our communities.

Intersectional Advocacy

We stand alongside and advocate for ALL neurodivergent children and families, and are acutely aware of how factors such as race / ethnicity, gender, and socioeconomic status impact access to services and support.

Inclusion

We believe every voice, perspective and way of being / thinking matters. Our practice of inclusion centers conscious listening and heart-centered curiosity.

Motherhood is a diverse and inclusive community that extends beyond physical proximity. It encompasses emotional bonds and shared accountability for the well-being of our children and fellow mamas.
