I coach Mamas raising neurodiverse kids (Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, etc.) who are often overwhelmed and  exhausted by their day-to-day responsibilities.

Who Cares for the Caregiver?

Most of us spend our days racing from one appointment to the next - visits with doctors and specialists, therapy sessions, and after school activities so our kids get that extra boost.

By the time they doze off to sleep at night, we’re exhausted.  And there is zero time for self care; in fact, most of us have forgotten what it even feels like to relax.

But here’s the raw truth -

Constant exhaustion leads to burn out. And we cannot care for our kids or ourselves stuck within this continuous cycle.  As parent caregivers, we must come off autopilot and into present moment awareness - understanding how to best support ourselves and our families.

I came to mindfulness several years ago, but connect most deeply to Mindful Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and most recently, TSD Mindfulness which helps us reduce stress, move through grief, navigate crisis, and heal from trauma. Teachings and practices are rooted in resilience, acceptance, self-compassion, and being present.

l support Mamas of neurodiverse kids in one-to-one sessions by unpacking their unique stress type, and what mindful tools are helpful with coping despite the challenges.

During our sessions, we focus on -

  • Identifying your unique stress type, and how this determines the ways you experience stress in your mind and body.

  • Exploring which mindfulness tools are most supportive for you.

  • Mapping out an accessible plan to help you maintain a consistent  mindfulness practice. This includes identifying your well-being anchors (those wellness practices which help you feel most supported and grounded throughout the day).

  • "Managing Stress Mindfully"

Our 1hr Coaching session breaks down how to use mindfulness strategies to cope, and introduces you to TSD Mindfulness and one practice you can use along your well-being journey.

  • "Be Well, Mama"

Our 4 Coaching Sessions can be weekly or bi-weekly (held over Zoom) - includes a wellness check-in, guided meditations, and strategies rooted in TSD mindfulness to help manage stress and deepen resilience, along with personalized supportive practices you can add to your well-being routine.

  • "Warrior Mama"

Our 8 Coaching Sessions include a wellness check-in, guided meditations, practices and strategies rooted in TSD mindfulness to help you develop greater resilience and manage stress, personalized specific practices you can add to your well-being routine. Also included six (6) journaling prompts to help you stay on track with your mindfulness practice.

How my clients feel matters to me because we work together to navigate the challenging path of well-being practices. This journey can be particularly tough when raising a neurodivergent kiddo or managing your own health issues. However, despite the difficulties, it is important to remember that it is not impossible to stay the course.
